As soon as she was handed over to her new owner, the adorable Annabelle knew exactly who her favorite person was. At a mere three weeks old, she had already become a daddy’s girl and her affectionate gestures towards him have captured the hearts of millions.
According to Annabelle’s dad, the connection between a pet and its owner cannot be precisely described. Annabelle’s birth mom was given up at a nearby shelter just one week prior to delivering her puppies.
Rather than delivering her puppies at the canine shelter, animal lovers stepped in and provided care for the expectant female dog at a private residence.
The mother dog successfully delivered a dozen healthy puppies, and among them, a little one was given the name Annabelle.
The family originally had no plans to keep any of the puppies, but they fell in love with two of them – Annabelle and her brother Norman. Annabelle was particularly beautiful with striking blue eyes, according to her teacher. Despite Norman growling at her, Annabelle adored him and always wanted to show him affection. It’s clear that the two have a special bond, as they were drawn to each other from birth and Annabelle even climbed over her ten siblings just to be close to him.
Separation anxiety is a common phenomenon that dogs experience when they are separated from their owners. Annabelle and Norman, two dogs, also go through this emotional distress when they are apart. Once, when Annabelle had to visit the vet, Norman sat at the window, gazing after her. He refused to move until Annabelle returned home safely.
